SNOWDON – ON THE MOUNTAIN PATH
Take it upon yourself to trek on one of the highest mountains in the UK and raise vital funds to support pregnant Syrian refugees. Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and England. It’s one of our most famous and recognisable landmarks. Standing tall over the village of Llanberis, Snowdon is a part of a close-knit family of jagged peaks and can offer views of Snowdonia, Anglesey, Pembrokeshire and Ireland.
Islamic Help’s Birth Clinic was set up as a focal point of services for Syrian pregnant women, mothers and babies. Manned by qualified medical staff, services include paying for delivery cost, ante-natal and post-natal care, and nutritional support for mothers and babies.
Islamic Help set out to help Syrian refugee mothers who were expecting by setting up the Birth clinic. Our commitment includes:
- Paying for the birth delivery costs
- Providing ante-natal and post-natal care, and nutritional support to pregnant women and essential nutrition to malnourished new-borns
- Saving the lives of, and ensuring the well-being of, pregnant refugees, mothers and new-borns.
For every £600 that we raise as a team, we will be able to cover the medical costs of delivering a baby in a hospital and also provide the mother and baby with an aftercare pack.
Take part in this awesome sponsored charity walk and help bring a life into this world.
