                                                              What's Happening?

A massive earthquake has left an estimated 10,000 feared dead and thousands homeless.

The quake, measured 7.8 magnitude and tremors were felt in India and Pakistan. Victims were reported in India, Bangladesh, Tibet and on Mount Everest, where avalanches were triggered.

How are we helping?

Right now we are on the ground working with our partners in communities to deliver life-saving emergency aid to the people who need it most. We are providing emergency food parcels containing 20 kilos of rice, 2 kilos of lentils, cooking oil, potatoes, salt and soybean which will sustain a family for one month.

Whole communities have been destroyed leaving families homeless and exposed to the freezing night temperatures. Shelter is a huge issue and we have been working hard to ensure as many people as possible have access to tents, blankets and clothes for men, women and children
