About this Event

Isa (AS) “Spirit from Allah”   Like an opposing force, Isa (AS) came to denounce the practices of the Pharisees and Sadducees and to reinforce the Laws of Musa (AS). At a time when materialism, luxury and gold were worshiped, Isa (AS) called his people to a nobler way of life by word and actions.   Isa’s (AS) message from the beginning was marked by its complete uprightness and piety. It appealed to the soul, the inner being, and not to a closed system of rules laid down by society.   Indeed, the example of Isa (AS) to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, “Be,” and he was. – Al Qur’an Surah Ali-Imran [3:59]   The points that will be covered are:   Birth of Isa (AS) Abilities of Isa (AS) Isa (AS) and his message Trials of Isa (AS) Implementing lessons today from his life.   As human beings, our general understanding of life is that of struggles and difficulties. Sometimes we find ourselves lost and find it hard to get any direction or guidance.   Our Prophets in Islam give us extraordinary insights, responding to our difficulties with equally extraordinary lessons. The teachings from the life of Prophet Musa (AS) or the important lessons from the life of Prophet Nuh (AS), the trials of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and the miracles of Prophet Isa (AS) are the pathways that will not only help us face difficulties with ease, but will also help us attain productivity in our lives as Muslims.
