A CHARITABLE CAUSE:
This community Iftar aims to ease some of the horrific burdens facing people in Yemen at this precious time of year. This special gathering will not only bring us together to break our fast, but will also serve a greater purpose, with all proceeds from the event going towards the running of one of our bakeries in Yemen which, throughout the year, provides freshly baked bread to 300 families every day.
By participating in this Iftar, we have a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need, as well as fostering a sense of solidarity and compassion within our community. Let’s come together to share a meal and extend our hands to help those who are facing unimaginable hardships
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Inspiring Recitations: Experience the beauty of the Qu’ran with talented Qari Alladdin Salman who will lead us in heartfelt recitations.
- Nasheeds: Enjoy uplifting Nasheeds from Ismail Hussain that celebrate our rich Islamic heritage, filling the atmosphere with joy and reflection.
- Islamic Reminders: Take a moment to pause and reflect with meaningful reminders from our guest speakers Mustafa Razzak and Adnan Rashid, that encourage us to deepen our connection with Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala and our brothers and sisters in the Ummah.
