Samira's Scafell Pike Challenge

On Saturday 5th September 2015 I will be scaling the Mountain in memory of a loved one Jawad Qureshi to help provide a much needed water purification plant for the Al Shifa hospital in Gaza.

Hello (As-salaamu-Alaykum) and welcome to my online donation page for the "Scafell Pike Challenge".

Before I continue I would like to take this opportunity to THANK YOU for taking the time in visiting and showing an interest in this amazing project!

'Samira's Scafell Pike Challenge'  is supporting the The Water for Gaza Project in aid to raise funds to go towards building a £300,000 desalination plant at Al Shifa Hospital, which is Gaza’s largest Medical Centre and the central focus of care during times of crisis. The hospital currently relies on two wells to provide it with water, unfortunately salination has a dramatic effect on health care, medical equipment and procedures. The plant will clean and purify the water, making it safe for human consumption, before it is transported via a network of pipes to the hospital.

We are so fortunate having all the basic needs in this country; the health care, the education system and our loving family and friends - all contributing to our lives in one way or another. Lets try and do something similar for these lives!

I will be taking part in this challenge in memory of a dear and loved one Jawad Qureshi. Please give whatever is within your means and remember, every penny help in making a difference to the innocent lives of Gaza.

I am pleased to say that I have some very generous friends and family all whom have contributed kindheartedly for this worthy cause.

Many thanks and Jazakallah Khair
Samira.
