Nabil Hussain

Assalamu Alaikum. Thank you for visiting my page. Before you leave please do read as to why I am doing this below and please contribute in any way possible. Thank you.

This page has been set up in dedication to a dear brother and friend of mine, Nabil Hussain. He passed away in the month of Muharram at the young age of 24 after being diagnosed with cancer. He bravely fought against it before passing away on 4th November 2015.

Nabil was a person who was well loved and highly spoke of amongst his family and friends. He was a gym lover and a very active individual with a vibrant personality whose passion and energy would have a positive effect and rub off on those around him. Nabil has sadly passed on but not without leaving behind memories of a good hearted and genuine being.

In his memory and to continue his legacy, I have pledged to build as many water pumps worldwide. With your help, I am aiming to raise enough money to have water pumps/wells built in Bangladesh, Burma, Pakistan and Tanzania.

I ask you to please donate whatever you can, however little, to help me fulfill this pledge on behalf of Nabil so that he is blessed with the continuous good deeds [Sadaqah Jaariyah] and not only Nabil, but everyone who has contributed in any way to provide beneficiaries with clean and safe drinking water. Jazak Allah Khair.
Your brother,
Junaid

DONATE NOW TO ISLAMIC HELP WATER PROJECTS:

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “The best charity is giving water to drink.” (Ahmad)

“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them.” (Hadith of the Prophet ﷺ, narrated by Muslim)

Ongoing charity – Sadaqah jariyah – is one of the most valuable acts we can do in this life, which continues benefiting us in the next, even after we have left the earth.

Islamic Help's water projects usually last at least 10 years on average and can provide water daily for an entire village. This includes providing safe drinking water, cooking, washing clothing, feeding livestock, growing crops and hygiene to prevent the spread of diseases and help reduce deaths.

One of the biggest challenges that face areas suffering from poverty, famine or drought is the lack of access to clean water for drinking and sanitation purposes. Water is fundamental to life yet even today millions of people, particularly those living in third world countries, have little to no access to it.

Islamic Help has always been mindful of water sanitation, providing residents of affected areas with clean drinking water. One of the ways to provide residents with access to this water is by digging wells and installing water plants. We undertake such projects whenever there is a serious need. Recently, our projects have been concentrated in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Tanzania.
