Birth Campaign for Syrian Refugees - Isra Ali
Dear All,
My name is Isra I am 15 years old, and I am currently fundraising money for a wonderful cause which is the 'Birth Campaign for Syrian Refugees' along with the help of my family and friends.
As I am sure you are all aware families in Syria are facing very harsh winters with no healthcare, food shortages, lack of basic amenities, and so many other elements making this even more difficult for them. For the Syrian refugees already struggling against their hardships, the arrival of a new-born, which should be a time of joy becomes a cause for concern and tears.
Through helping the Birth Campaign, Islamic Help will be building a maternity hospital to provide for expecting mothers and for their deliveries with equipment such as beds, medicine, after care, sanitary towels, baby clothes, food and more. All these are essentials which some of us may take for granted, and which we are blessed with, these mothers are struggling to find. This is how we as the Muslim Ummah step in and help them out and provide them with the equipment and essentials that they need to ensure that they have a safe and clean birth.
We should all be willing to donate as much as we can, as our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) has said in this beautiful hadith
"None of you will have faith until he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he wishes for himself". (Bukhari)
With your help, my friends and I would like to be able to help as many of these mothers as possible, so that their new-born arrives into this world in a safe, loving and caring environment.
Thank you for your help and support,
Isra
