                                         What's happening

According to the UN (June 2018), the  emergency in Yemen has left 22 million people - three quarters of the country's population - in desperate need of humanitarian aid to meet their most basic needs.  Water, health care, food and medicines are needed.

More than 8 million people are on the brink of starvation and 2 million are internally displaced.  You can help today.

With prolonged political deadlock and armed campaigns, the widespread conflict in Yemen has led to to the deaths of tens of thousands of civilians - many of them children - and the displacement of more than 2 million people. With 8 million Yemenis facing starvation, the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said in April 2018 that the Yemen crisis had become the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

In response to the growing needs of host communities and blockaded areas, Islamic Help's team in Yemen is providing desperately needed emergency assistance in the form of food, water and medical aid, as well as support for orphans and disabled children.

You can make a real difference by helping the people of Yemen in their time of need.

Yemen Emergency Appeal

Islamic Help will be providing emergency aid to hospitals and families in desperate need once the security situation eases and allows relief agencies to resume operations.
