With prolonged political deadlock and armed campaigns, the widespread conflict in Yemen has led to to the deaths of tens of thousands of civilians – many of them children – and the displacement of more than 2 million people. With 8 million Yemenis facing starvation, the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said in April 2018 that the Yemen crisis had become the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
In response to the growing needs of host communities and blockaded areas, Islamic Help’s team in Yemen is providing desperately needed emergency assistance in the form of food, water and medical aid, as well as support for orphans and disabled children.
You can make a real difference by helping the people of Yemen in their time of need.
