It is estimated that world hunger affects over a fifth of the world’s population and that as many as 925 million people are undernourished. Malnutrition too remains alarmingly high affecting the life expectancy, quality of life and life chances of so many. The struggle against food scarcity is a difficult one and Islamic Help is committed to and has been contributing to that struggle since its establishment.

We work in over twenty countries to alleviate the impact of food scarcity and do so by providing food packs, cooked food, Ramadan food packs and working towards long term solutions to food scarcity.

Islamic Help supports families and vulnerable people in various communities by providing them with food packs or cooked foods.  Nutrition is a fundamental part of the package of support that Islamic Help provides to each and every orphan that it looks after.
