Islamic help is a UK based NGO providing disaster relief and assistance to the poor and needy globally. We are looking for Regional Fundraising Managers. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and motivated individual who has a background in charitable fundraising. You will have a varied role - including anything from supporting our existing and new fundraisers to researching new opportunities within the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the development of fundraising plans
- Identifying individual programmes and priorities for funding
- Keeping track of donor funding trends recruit volunteers to assist with fundraising activities
- Producing support materials to promote our fundraising activities
- Developing strong relationships with colleagues and trustees
- Administering fundraising income by keeping reports and tracking donations
- Identifying partnership opportunities, locally, nationally and internationally
- Carrying out any other duties commensurate with the post
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Degree level or equivalent qualification
- Experience desirable in humanitarian and development sector
- Experience desirable in fundraising
- Experience desirable in event management and support
- Experience desirable in networking and writing project proposals
- Good written, oral communication skills
- A demonstrated ability for strategic thinking and problem solving
- Competence in the use of ICT, including the internet; Excel, Word, Sage
- Ability to work under pressure to agreed deadlines and adapt to change
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work on own initiative
