The UK may be emerging from recession but many parts of the world are still in desperate poverty, without access to the basic necessities of life. Things we take for granted, such as clean drinking water, food and medicine, are luxuries for hundreds of thousands of families in Africa and Haiti.
Imagine being a helpless parent in Sudan, not being able to give your crying child a cup of water to quench its thirst in the sub-Saharan heat. Well now is your chance toParticipate for Poverty and help quench this child’s thirst and others like it.
Islamic Help have three exciting fundraising events for the next 2 months as part of ourParticipate for Poverty programme. YOU can take part in these events, YOU can make a difference!
