Have you ever wanted to be a part of something amazing, something awesome and something unique? Have you ever wanted to take part in an exhilarating challenge that can change the lives of orphans forever? Have you ever wanted to simply make a difference? If you answered “yes” to all then get involved this Ramadan and take part in our mammoth relay event starting from Glasgow and ending after a long and enduring 32 days later in London!

How does it work?

Each day will comprise of a different participant walking a stage of the journey and on average will be walking 13-14 miles (roughly 5-6 hours), starting in Glasgow, Scotland! At the end of their journey they will pass the Islamic Help baton onto the next walker whom will start their stage the following morning. The walk will last for 32 days, covering a total of 440 miles and ending all the way in Central London at the Islam Channel studio! To make the challenge even more difficult, not only will you be potentially walking under the scorching summer sun but will also have to do so without food and water during the month of Ramadan!

(Don’t worry, we will not leave you stranded at the end of your stage and will ensure you have a safe journey back home!)

The Cause

All monies raised from this event will go towards our Orphan Sponsorship scheme which supports orphans in numerous countries across the world including Bangladesh, Iraq, Palestine, Pakistan, Sudan and Tanzania. This will provide each orphan supported by Islamic Help with food, water, shelter, education, clothing and welfare.
